Fitness Website Review Urban Burn Bootcamp II

I hope you enjoyed and got some tips out of part I of our review of Urban Burn Bootcamp. As you probably remember this was an 18 minute interview that we are chopping up so that you don’t have to watch 18 minutes of video in one sitting.

This next video is a bit longer than the last, at just over 5 minutes, but this one really starts to get into the site and how you can improve your testimonials and create social proof, not only through testimonials but through media sources.  This tip is so simple to implement, and hardly anyone does.

We will also take a look at how the wording and placement of your text can confuse your readers.  Watch as I point out where Brandon might be confusing his viewers by having an odd image placement that may make people think he is someone else.  People don’t like to be confused so lets try to make everything clear to them.  Watch the video.

So here is some of things we covered in this video:

  • Eliminate any large amounts of white space
  • Squeeze your sales page in.  Don’t let someones whole computer screen be the background for your page.  Narrow the reading arrow so you focus your readers eyes.
  • Be cautious of how you size your testimonial photos.  Be sure that a reader can see the images and read your testimonial text.
  • Don’t make your testimonials too long.  Put in the important relevant stuff and leave everything else out.
  • Be careful of your image placement and the text next to it.  You seen in the video how the text read Craig to the left of Brandons picture.  This will cause confusion.
  • Box in or add some kind of separation to your testimonial areas.  Again its time to focus your readers eyes like pinpointed lasers.

So thats all for part II of the Urban Burn Boot camp website review.  Again if anyone wants a review of their site, leave a comment below.  Or if you thought this review was helpful, please let me know.  Remember to get your back links.
